Our mission is focused on acknowledging the different cultures in our city and country. Through our four key pillars, we will empower all community members by providing equitable Mental Health, Immigration, Education & Language services.

Our vision is to impact the world by unifying and strengthening each culture’s autonomy.

Our inherited cultural values have given us an empathetic and ethical commitment to service our community.

MIEL organization, which stands for Mental Health, Immigration, Education and Language, was founded January 2022. Ivon Romo, Founder and Executive Director of MIEL organization, was born in Texas and raised in Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico.  She then moved to Colorado in 1996 and has called Colorado her home ever since.  As she was raised around the Latino community she realized the immense need to help those around her.  She believes and understands that there is a need for our communities to access these services to empower and break the language barriers.
